About the journal

Journal of Agri-food Science and Technology (JAFOST) is a peer-review journal that the Food Technology Department officially publishes, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (www.tp.uad.ac.id). As a scientific journal, JAFOST publishes research and scientific studies related to the development of chemical/biochemical science, engineering, processing technology, biotechnology, and the food industry. The advantages of this journal can be accessed for students, researchers, academics, and practitioners. Authors are required to register in advance and upload the manuscript online. The process of the document could be monitored through OJS. Authors, readers, editorial board, editors, and peer review could obtain the manuscript's real-time status. JAFOST publishes two times in a year i.e. February and August.

Aims and Scope

Journal of Agri-food Science and Technology (JAFOST) draws its contributions from academics and practitioner-researchers at the interface of food chemistry, food engineering, food product technology, food microbiology, biotechnology, and the food industry. The journal invites original, significant, and rigorous inquiry into all subjects within or across disciplines related to food technology and the food industry. It encourages discussion and cross-disciplinary exchange across a broad range of approaches. These topics are addressed in full-length academic articles, critical statements on current issues, and developmental practice. The journal presents an innovative platform for researchers, students, practitioners, and educators to learn from and contribute to the field. All articles are subject to initial Editor screening and then a rigorous double-blind peer-review process before publication.
