About the journal

Taqaddumi: Journal of Quran and Hadith Studies is a high-quality, open-access, peer-reviewed research journal that is published by Universitas Ahmad Dahlan Yogyakarta. Taqaddumi is a multi-disciplinary publication dedicated to the scholarly study of all aspects of the Qur'an and Hadith. Particular attention is paid to works dealing with the biography or the study of thoughts on contemporary Qur'an and Hadith Figures, Texts or Thematic Studies to Generate Relevant Understanding of the Qur'an and Hadith, Development of the study of the Science of the Qur'an and hadith, Study of the Qur'an and Hadith in an area or community. The manuscript must be original research, written in English and Arabic, and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. All submitted manuscripts will be initially reviewed by editors and are then evaluated by a minimum of two international reviewers through the double-blind review process. This is to ensure the quality of the published manuscripts in the journal.
